Google Analytics
From Boomerang Wiki
What is Google Analytics?Google Analytics is a set of tools offered for free by Google that allows you to track visitors and visits to your website and offers detailed statistics on how people found your site, their navigation patterns, and how you can improve their visitor experience. BlastWizard can now integrate with Google Analytics so that you can track referrals from your email campaigns to your website or landing pages. Follow this wiki link to read more about Google Analytics. If you do not have Google Analytics, please click here to sign up. How does it work?Google Analytics helps you tracks online campaigns using five marketing dimensions or variables: Source, Medium, Term, Content, and Campaign. Once set up correctly, these variables will be appended to each of the links you embed in your email job and help you track clickthroughs from your Google Analytics account. Setup in Google Analytics

How do I use Google Analytics to track referrals from my Email Campaigns?Once delivery and clickthrough data are generated, you can login to your Google Analytics account to view reports. Select the domain from the drop-down menu on the top bar where it says View Reports. To view reports for your email campaign, click on Traffic Sources from the menu on the left and you should see a Boomerang (Email) listing under Sources. Click on the Boomerang Email source to view the traffic data for each of the 5 dimensions mentioned above. For more on how to view and customize Google Analytics reports, please see Analytics Help.
